An Introduction to Social Return on Investment Analysis
A regional workshop for local voluntary sector infrastructure/support organisations and for groups working directly with children, young people and their families.
The Workshop will be held on Tuesday 20th March, 10.15 am – 3.00 pm at County Hall, Matlock
The aim of the workshop is to improve participants’ knowledge of economic analysis in general and Social Return on Investment in particular.
By the end of the workshop, you should have an increased understanding of:
- what it means to express the value of your work in economic terms using SROI;
- the type of information you need in order to undertake your own analysis; and
- the main steps involved in doing so.
The workshop goes from a first-principles look at economic analysis to a hands-on exercise to try out SROI analysis. Participants will be provided with tools to take away following the workshop. The tools will be useful for groups and support organisation’s looking to share an effective model in Social Return on Investment with their networks.
