South Derbyshire CVS Funding Events Calendar – Spring 2012
The following funding events and surgeries are available for local voluntary and community groups in South Derbyshire.
Don’t miss these valuable opportunities to meet funders, discuss funding options and access funding. All events are FREE, but it is essential to book.
Wednesday 23rd May 10am – 3pm (South Derbyshire CVS, Swadincote) – Coalfields Regeneration Trust
Peter Meadows, Regional Programme Manager for the Coalfields Regeneration Trust will be running a funding surgery at SDCVS. The Level 1 grants scheme is still open, and can make grants of up to £5000 to small groups to extend their impact in the local area.( small means with an income in the last financial year of less than £100,000). Grants can be for both revenue or capital costs, such as small building costs, equipment, venue hire etc ( for a full list from a list of items available see the Scheme Guidelines.) Areas in South Derbyshire which are able to apply are: Church Gresley, Hartshorne and Ticknall, Linton, Midway, Newhall and Stanton, Seales, Swadlincote, Woodville. Half hour appointments need to be booked in advance

Thursday 31 May (South Derbyshire CVS, Swadincote) Derbyshire Community Foundation
Annual funding surgery giving give you the opportunity to discuss your funding requirements with one of the Foundations’ grants team, in an informal half hour one to one session that is tailored to meet your needs. Sessions can cover discussion of your projects and funding needs and which of the grant streams administered by the Foundation is suited to your group’s requirements. We can also help with developing Foundation applications you are currently working on and providing hints and tips for applying for funding in general.
