South Derbyshire CVS Funding Events Calendar – Spring 2012
The following funding events and surgeries are available for local voluntary and community groups in South Derbyshire.
Don’t miss these valuable opportunities to meet funders, discuss funding options and access funding. All events are FREE, but booking is essential!
Thursday 16 February 9.30am – 1.00pm (South Derbyshire CVS, Swadlincote) – Community Action Grant Seminar
Everything you need to know about this new strand of Derbyshire County Council funding.

Thursday 8th March 1-5pm (South Derbyshire CVS, Swadlincote) Children In Need Funding Surgery
Does your group work to bring positive change to disadvantaged children and young people up to 18? Come and meet Dawn Watts, Children in Need Regional Officer. Grants of up to £10,000- and above are available.

Wednesday 4 April 5.30 – 8.00pm (Collingwood Centre, Swadlincote) – Derbyshire Sport: Sports Funding Seminar
Come and meet Edwina Archer funding officer at Derbyshire Sport who will be giving information on funding available for sports groups.

Wednesday 11 April, 10am – 3pm (South Derbyshire CVS, Swadlincote) – The Key Fund
The Key Fund supports a wide range of social enterprise ideas with funding from £2000 to £50,000. If you have a social enterprise idea that needs funding for start up or running costs, revenue or capital, come and meet Matt Smith to discuss it.

Thursday 19 April, 10am – 3pm (South Derbyshire CVS, Swadlincote) – UnLtd.
UnLtd is a charity which supports social entrepreneurs who have ideas to make a difference in and for the community. A package of support and funding from (£500 to £5000) is available to help to realise your ideas. Come and meet Shamiela Ahmed for a chat about how UnLtd could help you realise your dreams.

Wednesday 9 May 10am – 4pm (South Derbyshire, venues TBC) – Awards for All
Matt Rowe from the Big Lottery will be visiting South Derbyshire to run a travelling funding surgery.
